AI-generated photo of Sarah (obviously…)

Hi there, {{first_name | friend}},

I love a good refresh in the new year. I dyed my roots darker this month, choosing a warmer tone after asking AI to analyze my best color palette. I rearranged my living room for better flow. And I set up all my AI Projects in Claude to start fresh with new workflows.

But the refresh I'm most excited about? This newsletter.

I’ve been in your inbox every other week for months now, and you’ve told me exactly what you want to receive going forward: more prompts, more AI news, and more tools.

And voilà! Enter newsletter version 2.0!

Same AI updates and useful tips as before, in shorter messages designed for busy moms, and with an increased frequency so you never miss out on the latest content to streamline your life.

And to kick things off, this edition has a bit of everything you asked for, starting with 3 prompts to help you hit refresh on different areas of your life.

Refresh Your Style, Space, and Systems

Try refreshing your AI toolset by experimenting with these prompts in Gemini or Claude.

Prompt 1: Find the Right Hair Color Tones Using a Photo

Act as my color analyst and stylist. I'm sharing a photo of myself in natural light. Analyze my skin tone, undertones, and natural coloring. Suggest hair color tones (warm, cool, or neutral) that would complement me best. Format the output as a short recommendation I can take to my stylist or reference when choosing at-home color.

Mom tip: Use a photo with no makeup and natural lighting for the most accurate analysis.

Prompt 2: Rearrange a Room Using a Photo

Act as my interior design consultant. I'm sharing a photo of my [insert room name]. Analyze the layout, furniture placement, and flow. Suggest two realistic ways I could rearrange this space for a fresh look without buying anything new. Focus on improving function, light, and energy. Format the output as simple before-and-after descriptions I can visualize and implement easily.

Mom tip: Take the photo from the doorway for the best perspective.

Prompt 3: Get Step-by-Step Instructions to Set Up an AI Project

Act as my AI workflow coach. Walk me through how to set up a custom Project in [ChatGPT or Claude] designed to help me [describe your goal, e.g., meal plan for a family of five, organize school schedules, draft emails]. Explain what information I should include in the Project setup, the content I can upload as context, the instructions I should include for best results, and how to test it before I rely on it. Format the output as numbered steps with examples I can copy and adapt.

Mom tip: Projects in ChatGPT and Claude act like personalized AI assistants. Set one up for any area of your mental load: meal planning, home management, volunteer projects, etc.
