A Note from Sarah:
As we head into the heart of the holidays, I’m hoping for real holiday harmony at my house. Instead of picture perfect matching pajamas in front of an elegant tree, I am looking for harmony where the kids are a little too loud, schedules overlap, ornaments and meals are homemade, and our baking tastes even better than it looks. That kind of harmony lets me stay present instead of managing everything.
This season can be full of joy and pressure at the same time. AI can’t create meaning for us, but it can help carry some of the logistics so we can show up with more presence for the parts that matter most. That’s the spirit of this edition.
Wishing you a harmonious holiday. Thanks for being here.

Prompts for AI-Empowered Holiday Harmony
Try these sample prompts in your favorite AI tool (like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini) to ease your transitions this week.
Prompt 1: Build My Holiday Run-of-Show
Act as my holiday operations coordinator. Help me create a realistic run-of-show for the upcoming holiday period, including meals, gatherings, travel, downtime, and traditions. Ask clarifying questions about dates, locations, guests, kids’ needs, and energy levels. Build a clear, calm plan that shows what happens when, what can be flexible, and where I should protect rest.
Mom tip: This works especially well when you include a calendar screenshot or travel details.
Prompt 2: Prep Kids for Holiday Changes
Act as a family communication coach. Help me write a simple, age-appropriate script to prepare my kids for holiday schedule changes, different meals, different houses, and different expectations. Include reassurance language, ways to preview the plan visually, and phrases I can repeat when emotions run high.
Mom tip: Ask AI to assume the persona of your parenting style (e.g., gentle parenting, Dr. Becky, FAFO parenting).
Prompt 3: Holiday Intention Setting
Act as my personal coach. Help me set intentions for the holiday season that balance connection and magic with rest and realism. Ask me a few questions about what matters most, what drains me, and what I want to let go of. Then reflect that back as a short intention statement I can revisit throughout the season.
Mom tip: Save this response somewhere you’ll actually see it.All of these titles are collected in our AI-Empowered Mom Amazon Reads list for easy browsing. If you choose to purchase a book through that list, AI-Empowered Mom may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
